London, England — June 17, 2009 – Wave Medical announced today the official launch of its new clinical decision support application, Primary Pro Plus Mentor, which represents a new partnership between Wave Medical and EMIS. Designed specifically for general practitioners who use EMIS software; Wave Medical will be debuting the new application at the NHS Healthcare Innovation Expo, June 18 and 19th at the ExCel Center. EMIS’s Mentor database has been integrated into Wave Medical’s existing clinical decision support tool for general practitioners, Primary Pro. The new application, Primary Pro Plus Mentor, integrates Mentor patient information leaflets (PILs) and drug information leaflets (DILs) directly into Wave Medical’s clinical content. Wave Medical applications are accessible from a PC Browser as well as a wide range of Smartphone devices including iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile, giving users instant access to the most up to date clinical information from almost anywhere.
